Hey! 👋 I am Quentin, a photonics / software engineer at GDSFactory, previously at Fraunhofer HHI.

Side-projects I like to work on are

  • 🌈 BEAMZ, which aims to become a pragmatic, accelerated FDTD simulation package for photonic chip designers,
  • 🔦 micromode, a minimal and highly auditable FDFD mode solver designed for FDTD engines, and
  • 🖼️ Image Ranker, making the ranking of large image datasets easy using a web GUI and the TrueSkill algorithm.
